Tameer Educational & Welfare Trust is an NGO aimed at empowering less privileged populations for greater human capital. Established in the year 2017 at Kolkata, West Bengal, TAMEER Educational & Welfare Trust is a charitable organization working for the integrated development for the needy society. Based on the values like compassion, service and integrity, TAMEER aims at establishing an empowered, literate, and healthy nation with high standard ethical and societal responsibilities.
Our programmes aim at ensuring that everyone is provided for to receive necessities that will make him/her live a complete full life and be a productive citizen in society. Our goal is to promote equal opportunity for growth and development by collaboratively participating with stakeholders including local communities, governments and other interested people or organizations with whom we can provide value-added and long term solutions to the problems we may encounter. Several of our programs are designed to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting our dedication to achieving globally recognized standards of sustainable development. TAMEER undertakes project that tend to meet the current needs of the community as well as create sustainable environment for a better future.
